The passage opens onto a ledge. The crystal bluffs stretch into the sky, lit in the sunlight to become a sea of deep sapphire punctuated by veins of emerald and amethyst, accented by fiery touches of ruby and topaz. They must be magical, since they are each many times the size of any natural crystal.
The ledge does not go anywhere except the passage you came out of.
