The great hall of a dwarven castle is lit by hundreds of torches around its perimeter. The ceiling is lost somewhere in the darkness above.
The hall is strangely deserted; in a normal castle, this hall would be packed at all hours by miners and warriors eating. Yet this hall is so empty that not even the tables remain to give any hint of habitation. The torches are apparently magical, since they do not radiate heat or consume their fuel.
The hall sits at the center of what would normally be the heart of the castle; apparently, only a part of it came into this realm. Doorways are cut in many directions.
