This is the King's formal audience chamber, though no furniture remains to mark it as such. The floor is marble instead of dirt, and an iron grid stands in front of both doors so that boots may be cleaned before stepping on the stones. The only light comes from two flickering torches on the wall to each side of a dias.
Light also spills in two doorways, one leading south to the main hall, and one leading west into a tower.
