they always said he was special a miracle beyond belief the ultimate triumph at last greatest achievement of modern medicine proof of scientific genius and anything else they could think of he always knew he was special they followed only him watching whenever they could laden with cameras and microphones and bright lights and gaudy logos and anything else they could think of but he tired of being special locking the door lifting the razor they said it was a failed experiment that he couldn't handle society or he was dangerous because nobody knew and anything else they could think of
He didn't matter to them. He was just a clone. When will this become reality?
Poetry is funny. I walked half a mile to listen to the peepers for inspiration. I came back, wrote some junk about them, and then this. Strange how ethics made a better poem than a warm spring night.
I've always known that if I leave, it will be by slitting my wrists...
