Willows in the breeze
Lakeside Park
so many memories
Laughing rides
Midway lights
Shining stars
On summer nights----Rush, "Lakeside Park"
The willows guard the stream as it flows down the waterfall stair
snakes across the grass
and into the azure lake
At the top of the hill
a shadowy pine forest carpeted with soft needles
stands cloaked in peaceful silence
Over by the pond
oak, beech, maple, and elm reach for the sky
trying to touch the wispy clouds above
The songs of birds drift on a gentle breeze
complementing their flashing wings
I reach out with my paw to shake your hand....
