dance to please it
let it kill you
slowly
demanding, careless
of the world
it rides through
and broken dreams
in its wake

waiting to snap

washed away and forgotten
bowing to the impulse

smooth curves
soft scents
liquid voice
wipe reality away
sweet surrender
seek it
forever
wish
to be
held
there
through the night
V.

when it catches your eye
alone
begging for help
searching for freedom in you
as if locked away
so innocent
when it calls to you
alone
waiting to spring
and sink claws into your soul
such illusion
