it's elegant, hidden from the world unseen unknown unexplained until knowledge finds it and curiosity seeks to bring it to light-- observation strips away mysticism leaving the holder naked (a piece of soul showing) and it can never slip behind the veil again
That which can be destroyed and never restored must be preserved. Secrets, rainforests, art...
The title of this poem was inspired by quantum physics (duh.) Inside the atom, an electron is in a quantum state: both wave and particle, unknown until we look. A secret is like that, too--magical until it's exposed.
