Makers of an amazingly good $100 scanner--the 3400C. 1200 dpi, 36 bit color, no "attack of the scanner lines". I also have a
32/10/4x (read/record/rewrite) CD burner from them, which is similarly great. (No, I don't work for them. They just make quality
products.)
