Truth----
events unfolding in living color,
past occurrences strong as illusion-forms
dancing in the air----
The girl, her attacker, the mage-warrior,
the arrow, its target, the other power's
deflection, razor edges cutting innocence
with death----
Followed by the motivations of the
players, their worlds of truth, wrong,
right, and shades between:
true wrongs done in belief they were
right because of the tiny corner
of reality the actor knew----
Awareness spread, covering the
story of everyone, through time,
until, overwhelming----
None knew why the seeker
had failed, but his cold limbs
and still heart told them
undeniably
that he had met with power
beyond something so simple
as truth.
